Remember the old Remote Control widget? Forget it! We’ve completely reimagined and supercharged it. Introducing Device Link—your smartphone now becomes the perfect companion to your emulator! You can:
- Seamlessly forward touch events from your phone to the emulator.
- Mirror your emulator’s screen directly on your smartphone.
- Forward your phone’s sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer) straight to the emulator.
It’s not just an upgrade, it’s a new way to interact with your emulated Android!
🌐Motion Sensors
Need motion data? We’ve got you covered. The new Motion Sensors widget lets you simulate Android motion sensors like a pro. And when paired with Device Link? Well, say hello to the ultimate AR and gesture-handling toolkit! This combo transforms how you test motion-heavy applications.
📷High-Resolution Camera
Starting with Android 12.0, we’ve upgraded our camera resolution to 1280×720. If you’re working with computer vision or high-def assets, injecting HD content has never been easier—just tap into the Media Injection widget and you’re all set.
🔓Dynamic Root Access
Introduced in Genymotion Desktop 3.7, our Dynamic Rooting feature is now available for Android 12.0 and above. You can instantly toggle root access on and off without restarting the emulator, making your development process smoother than ever.
